Jimmy's Iced Coffee
As you may or may not know, Jimmy’s Iced Coffee has had an iced oat milk latte out for a while now. I used to be so envious of non-vegans who could just walk in to supermarket and grab and iced-coffee to go, but now I don’t have to be!
Recently they updated their recipe, and also changed their packaging, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on some to try. Now, the first thing I would like to note/appreciate is how aesthetically pleasing the new packaging is. It’s what all my pastel-dreams are made of and is definitely going to look great on any Instagram feed – which is obviously a win.
Secondly and most importantly is the taste, and I can assure you it is AMAZING. Obviously as it’s iced coffee it is best served chilled, and you need to shake it before you drink it! But it’s super creamy and got just the right amount of coffee:oat-milk ratio! Not too sweet, but not too overpowering with coffee, just how you want an iced latte to be.
Also, top tip: if you ever run out of vegan milk, this stuff works amazing in coffee and unlike most vegan milk IT DOES NOT CURDLE! Plus, it’s the perfect size for you to take it to work and use throughout the day to make several coffees. I’m pretty sure using iced coffee in your coffee instead of milk is some sort of amazing coffee-ception hybrid… Try it, I dare you. (Unless you have to watch your caffeine intake in which case maybe add it to decaf instead).
You can usually find it in Tesco Express, Sainsbury’s, and Waitrose.
They have a super handy map on their site too which you can use to help hunt down your oat latte: https://www.jimmysicedcoffee.com/dairyfree/ OR if you can’t find any then you can order it straight from them online: https://www.jimmysicedcoffee.com/product/case-dairy-free/#smoothScrollss !
